Heritage Open Day: A rare chance to see inside the world of Freemasonry. The highlight of the building is the symbolic and ornate temple, there is also a display of memorabilia associated with freemasonry. Members of the lodges will be present to explain the building and the role of Masonry today.
Freemasonry in Deal can be traced back to a Royal Navy Lodge in 1764. The Masonic Hall dates from 1910 and is currently the meeting place for five lodges.
