Heritage Open Day: Join artist and creative practitioner Donna Thompson to discover the beautiful Frosterley marble at the Cathedral of St John the Baptist, Norwich. This workshop invites visitors to explore the Cathedral and be inspired by its architecture. 'Let's clay marbles' is a 'drop-in' clay workshop for children of all ages being run at the Cathedral (Children should be accompanied by an adult). Participants will have the opportunity to make a clay tile using simple tools and techniques.

The workshop celebrates the beautiful Frosterley Marble that adorns the Cathedral's columns, pillars, and windows. The font is made from one single piece of the stone!
