Heritage Open Day: Working Lives Past and Present – Holmbridge Mills: visit the former mill site and community, including the present Sculpture Lounge for professional crafters, sculptors in metal and wood, artists, and potters. Working Lives Past and Present – Holmbridge Mills: This mill community is at the boundary of 3 ancient parishes and the confluence of 2 rivers. We meet in St David’s Church to see pictures of the evolution of our area then walk through our neighbourhood. We may take in old mills, see the changes to Holmbridge Mill and visit the Sculpture Lounge. This is repurposing of the former mills for professional crafters, sculptors in metal and wood, artists, and potters. We may see heritage skills in modern art.
