Newhaven Museum
Heritage Open Day: Our museum has recently been refurbished - come and see new displays showcasing Newhaven's maritime, industrial, war-time and social histories and explore our wonderful photographic archive. For 2025's Heritage Open Days we will have a special exhibition highlighting the building of Newhaven's breakwater and associated harbour works in the 1880s. The museum's collections include an archive of over 20,000 images related to the history and people of Newhaven and the surrounding district. The images can be searched and viewed on our in-house computer.
