Treadwheel Crane

Heritage Open Day: Discover the Two wheel Treadwheel Crane - only known example in UK! This 17th century wooden treadwheel crane, which was manned by two men, was originally used in shipbuilding in the nearby Naval Yard. It was moved in 1932 to its current position and is now a unique historical attraction and a Grade II* listed building. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
