Eye Town Hall Eye Heritage Pop up Museum

Heritage Open Day: The Victorian building is Grade II * listed and is a meeting place for the Council also used as a Wedding and community hire. Paintings & artifacts are on display and a 'pop up' local history museum on Sunday September 14th. There will be a pop up museum in the main hall of the Eye Town Hall for the Sunday celebrating the local history of Eye. The indoor display will offer historical information about Eye in World War 2. The USAAF 490th Bombardment Group will be represented with a display of items and uniforms from WW2 when they were based at the Eye Airfield over 80 years ago.
