Westgate Hill Cemetery
Heritage Open Day: Guided tour of the graves in one of the earliest garden cemeteries in England, now a listed park and garden. Newcastle's oldest commercial cemetery (non-consecrated), a wide range of people were buried here from 1829 until 1957.
With listed features and tombs, several significant local people are buried here alongside commonwealth war graves, in this small 3 acre site.
