Reading Abbey Gateway drop in

Heritage Open Day: An exciting opportunity to visit the Abbey Gateway building where Jane Austen went to school between 1785 and 1786. Take a look inside this beautiful building and learn about its history from Reading Museum’s volunteers and staff.
Please note that the Gateway is a listed building on 2 floors without a lift. If you have any mobility issues please contact the learning team at Reading Museum to discuss options before your visit (0118 937 3400 or email: Museum.Education@reading.gov.uk)
