Quaker Meeting for Worship

Heritage Open Day: Come and experience Quaker worship. The original Quakers of the 17th century ‘quaked’ when moved by the spirit. We tend to sit in companionable silence for most of the meeting. Sometimes someone feels moved to speak. A Quaker Meeting is a space where we can pray, reflect, meditate, connect or just be. It’s a space where we can find spiritual comfort, inspiration and guidance without dogma. It’s a space where we can find our own spiritual paths and we can also find community. Everyone of all faiths, backgrounds and beliefs is most welcome to join a Quaker Meeting.

Coffee and chat afterwards

Sunday 21st - Peace Songs led by Celia Waterhouse and Pot-Luck Shared Lunch - bring something to share!
