Heritage Open Day: Join Alun Pugh, the chairman of the Cemetery Friends on a 90 minute tour. You will hear stories that link the Victorian history of Leeds to the people who are buried there and see the hundreds of Guinea Graves Beckett St. Cemetery opened in 1845 & is the second oldest Municipal cemetery in England with over 188,000 burials. As well as the fascinating stories of these people you will get a chance to find relatives should you be tracing your family tree.
