Bethesda Baptist Church

Heritage Open Day: Bethesda is an evangelical Baptist Church made up of around 120 people. We are a landmark building in the heart of Ipswich town centre, but the Church is the people who have long-established relationships in Ipswich. Explore this classical-style building by the architect F G Faunch of Ilford this the Heritage Open Days festival. Built by Mr Geo Kenny of Ipswich and made with Cornish granite columns supplied by United Stone Firms Ltd, Bristol. Opened in 1913, it seats 800 and has a splendid gallery on three sides providing the best view of the interior. The organ was built by Messers S Rayson and Son, Ipswich.

Volunteers will be on hand to welcome you and answer questions you have as well as provide information about our History.
