Heritage Open Day: A chance to visit a beautiful Victorian church which has served the community of Worcester Park and Cuddington, Surrey, since 1895, and see displays about the church's 130-year history, and architecture in Cuddington and Worcester Park. An opportunity to visit St Mary's Church, designed by local architect John Alick Thomas, replacing a temporary iron church which in turn, after a gap of over 300 years, had replaced the medieval Cuddington Church demolished by Henry VIII to make way for Nonsuch Palace. A free leaflet points out some of the features of the building with its Victorian and modern stained glass.
