The Evolution of Jazz in Aylesbury

Heritage Open Day: Spend a relaxed evening in the company of great jazz music and local Jazz enthusiasts. Join Frank Wormald of Jazz UpFront, Terry Bloxham of the Buckinghamshire Historical Association and friends to hear all about the evolution of Jazz in Aylesbury.

From its earlier roots, to a heyday in the 1950/60s, to the more recent events with Jazz UpFront, who celebrated ten years this year with a festival at St Mary's Church.

The Jazz UpFront Club was founded by promoter Frank in 2015 and is know well known across Aylesbury and the UK Jazz scene for consistently exciting programming. Aylesbury has played host to some of the most iconic names in the modern Jazz scene and continues to do so today...
