Creative Nurture Workshops
Heritage Open Day: Come and join Sunningwell School of Art during the Abingdon Heritage Weekend! The school is offering free architecture-themed creative workshops using iconic Abingdon historical buildings as inspiration to create individual and group artworks. Art school tutors and staff will be leading free architecturally focused ‘make it and take it home’ workshops for adults and young people aged 5 years and up (under 14s to be accompanied by an adult).
By participating in the Abingdon Heritage Weekend Festival the school aims to break down barriers for engaging with the arts and raise awareness about how creativity promotes positive mental health and improved wellbeing in individuals and communities.
