Echoes of St Eustachius

Heritage Open Day: A celebration of the musical heritage of the parish church of St Eustachius and the church's magnificent organ inaugurated by SS Wesley. A celebration of the musical heritage of the parish church of St Eustachius that has stood at the heart of Tavistock for over 700 years.

The church’s magnificent organ was inaugurated in 1846 by the famous organist/composer Samuel Sebastian Wesley. It is remarkable for its elaborately carved organ-casing.

Choral works from different centuries will be performed by the Church Choir and guest singers. And there will be opportunities for the audience to participate!
