Heritage Open Day: Thetford Town Council welcomes you to see the newly restored Clock Tower, Clock face and Cupola at the historic Grade 2 listed Guildhall. Get a behind the scenes understanding of the works carried out and the history of restorations at the Guildhall. As part of this year’s Heritage Open Days, Thetford Town Council is delighted to showcase the recently restored Clock Tower, Clock Face, and Cupola of the Grade II listed Guildhall in the heart of Thetford’s Market Place.
This major restoration project began in June 2023, following a detailed structural survey that identified the work needed to revitalise one of Thetford’s most iconic landmarks.
