Moor Park Sports and Social Club - Preston's Hidden Gem

Heritage Open Day: Hidden is plain sight, one of Preston's architectural gems. Built and opened in 1899, Moor Park Sports and Social Club is a beautiful 19th Century Red Brick building surrounded by mature trees providing an oasis despite being on major roads. Come along and visit a magnificent 19th Century Gem located at the Junction of Blackpool Road and Garstang Road - often missed due to the mature trees and bushes with just a brief glance as you drive by. Opened in 1899, Moor Park Sports and Social Club really is one of the nicest buildings in Preston. It provides facilities for Crown Green Bowling with one of the largest greens in the City. Inside the club offers snooker, darts and pool as well as other traditional club games.

Pay a visit and have a go at bowling, try your hand a snooker and pool, throw a few darts or relax over dominos (not pizzas) and take in the atmosphere of a bygone age. The Bar will be open and snacks will be available.

Free parking on site.
