Heritage Open Day: Visiting exhibitions in the Village hall, Native American Woodland cultures from Canada and the United States and Romany Gypsy culture. Spencer's heritage yard will be open on the Moorend, with renovated top floor. The WI room will have the Romany Gypsy exhibition and a chance of paper flower making.
In the main hall a collection relating to Native people from the Woodland regions of America and Canada, an opportunity to see a rare and unique collection. At Spencer's Yard there is a reconstructed cottage and outbuildings, furnished and detailing village life in peak district during mid-18th century. Costumed interpreters.
Early Victorian shepherd's hut on display with shepherds tools and artifacts of the time. Old local shepherds smock, kindly recently donated, on display in the Victorian Shepherd hut from the same date late 19th century.
