Abingdon Baptist Church and former Manse

Heritage Open Day: Church and former minister's house open for short guided tours, 10am to 4pm Saturday 13 September 2025 An 18th century panelled room and staircase are included in a tour of the refurbished former minister's house dating back to the early 17th century, the ground floor of which is now a café run by volunteers. The recently reordered 1841 classical-fronted church is also open, featuring a gallery and baptistry. There are other interesting features including the probable remains of an earlier chapel in the grounds and neighbouring classrooms of a 'British School' which once fronted the site.
