Explore the architectural heritage of NW Rochdale

Heritage Open Day: Join us for a walk though ancient woodland and fields, linking three historic churches in our area. Explore our local industrial and architectural heritage. Enjoy concerts by local musicians and sing your socks off to some favourite hymns too! Everyone is welcome to join us for a circular walk starting at 10am on Saturday 20th September from St Paul's church in Norden.
We will walk down the Naden valley to St Michael's church in Bamford, calling in at St James' church, Ashworth on the way back to St Paul's.
The route is fairly flat, just over 5 miles, on footpaths, tracks and roads. There are a few stiles and steps. Good footwear and appropriate clothing is needed.
Information and displays about the buildings (and a brew of course) will be available at each church.
