Heritage Open Day: Historic Chapel for Merchant Seafarers We are a branch of an international organisation started in 1856 as Christian charity serving the needs of Merchant Seafarers. This mission has a chapel specifically for seafarers of all nationalities and faiths,opened in 1921 and is still used now.
