Founded in 1977 on Lee Street, Oldham, Shree Swaminarayan Mandir has been a cornerstone for the local Hindu community. As families from Gujarat, especially Kutch, settled in Oldham during the late 1960s due to the cotton mill industry, the Mandir (Temple) became a vital place for worship and community gathering.
