Pete Lowden explores the history of the established burial places in Hull from the medieval period up to the 20th century in this talk. It looks at the difficulties that prevailed with burial in the Hull area prior to the Norman invasion. The talk looks at the first recorded burials in Hull, and then looks at the rise of the church burial grounds and their extensions in the 18th century.
