Heritage Open Day: History documented. King’s Lynn has one of the finest collections of borough archives in the country. They include royal charters from 1204, deeds and accounts from the 13th century and minutes of the town’s governing body from the 14th century onwards. A Heritage Lottery Fund grant has enabled the installation of state-of-the-art archive stores to keep our heritage safe for future generations.
