Heritage Open Day: St John's Dewsbury Moor celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2023 and will again be open on Sat 13th and Sat 20th Sept 25 from 1100 - 1500 for history, ancestry and activities Come and see our spectacular stained glass windows and delve into the church's history through our extensive archive and online access, which includes a chime of 8 bells with an extremely interesting history. See the photographs of old Dewsbury and discuss with historians from Dewsbury Sacrifices those who served and died in the two World Wars.
Look at the history of gifts donated to St John's over 200 years and join the small tour of our churchyard highlighting people of interest and influence.
