Heritage Open Day: View the giant history panel retelling the events that lead up to and the arrival in 1938 of a Kindertransport train with 500 children escaping Nazi oppression in Vienna This panel retells the background to the Vienna Kindertransport and its subsequent arrival with over 500 Jewish refugees in Lowestoft during December 1938. Features some moving testimony and information.
