St John the Evangelist Taunton
Heritage Open Day: Welcome to St John the Evangelist in Park Street, Taunton. A Grade 1 listed Victorian Gothic parish church designed by George Gilbert Scott with a Father Willis organ, interesting stained glass and an Arts and Crafts rood screen St John's is limited in opening during the week but will be open all the weekend of 20th to 21st September with free entry and a local history display about the parish. Refreshments will be available and there is a large selection of second hand books for sale.
