Heritage Open Day: Talk about the exhibition ‘Transformed by War’ and the role of ports in WWII 16 September 1400-1500 The Pocket 75 High Street Bideford EX39 2AA – a talk about the exhibition ‘Transformed by War’ and the role of ports in WWII created by Heritage Harbours. The Pocket is hosting the ‘Transformed by War’ Exhibition created by Bideford and River Torridge Heritage Harbour and the UK Heritage Harbours.
This is also an opportunity to view this bouldering and climbing centre, which occupies the building that was previously Woolworths and Factory Shop, and shows how retail spaces can be transformed into different uses as shopping habits change.
