Heritage Open Day: A large Georgian house close to the centre of Beverley and sitting in extensive grounds. It has over forty rooms including thirteen bedrooms, three kitchens, two utility rooms, five cellars, a library, four staircases, a Coach House and outbuildings Newbegin House, a grade II listed building, was built in 1746 by Derek Gee on the site of a medieval property and there are timbers in the front wall which may date from the earlier property but are hidden by a later brick facing.
