St Michaels on Wyre Parish Church

Heritage Open Day: Grade 1 listed Medieval church with interesting features and guided tours and refreshments available One of only two Grade 1 listed buildings in the Borough of Wyre, parts of the church date from the 13th century, with additions of the Butler Chapel in the 15th century and the Tower in the 16th century.

The church will be open to visitors on both days when you can wander around at your leisure, and enjoy tea, coffee and cake (no charge but donations for repairs to the bells and clock would be much appreciated). We hope to be able to offer short guided tours pointing out the main features of the church and giving details of some of the history of the church.
