Heritage Open Day: Enter a world of architectural brilliance at All Souls’, a Grade I listed building. Completed in 1859, the architect of this magnificent gothic church, Sir George Gilbert Scott, considered it his finest church. If you visit, you'll find out why! All Souls’ exterior is a sight to behold with its many carved figures and towering spire, (236 feet). Once inside, you’ll find further faces and features, all with intricately carved details. The stained-glass windows of All Souls’ are breathtaking and almost every window of the church is filled with stained glass, creating a vibrant display of light and colour. Designed and made by renowned companies each window is a work of art, contributing to the church’s artistic significance.
