Heritage Open Day: Discover the Carnegie Library which was built in 1915. This beautiful Arts and Crafts library was opened on 15th May 1915, the generous Scottish-American Andrew Carnegie funded the building of this fabulous library, following requests from Fletcher Moss. It was built on the site of Victorian cottages, which were demolished in 1912 and the bowling green of The Wellington Inn.
