Heritage Open Day: This early 18th century chapel is the oldest dissenting place of worship in Taunton. The interior is worth a close look as it originates from when the chapel was built in 1721. It also has a magnificent brass chandelier presented in 1728. It is the oldest dissenting place of worship in Taunton and also one of the very few unspoilt early 18th century chapels in the West Country. The interior is worth a close look as the wood panelling, square pillars, pulpit and galleries are all in Flemish Oak and originate from when the chapel was built. Also see the magnificent brass chandelier that was presented to the chapel in 1728 by Nathaniel Webb MP.
