Heritage Open Day: Dr Alex Buchanan booked to do a Heritage talk on Thomas Rickman.
Heritage talk 3.00 Saturday 13th and 20th. Tickets will be available on Eventbrite. Thomas Rickman was the original Architect of our Cast Iron' Church. He, with the Iron Founder, John Cragg were responsible for the first prefabricated churches in the world.
Rickman was responsible for the first ever cast iron-framed church window in Birkenhead Priory.
