Heritage Open Day: A 14th century barn, ravaged by fire in the 1960s but lovingly restored by Pilton Barn Trust, chaired by Michael Eavis of Glastonbury Festival fame. The building's roof was rebuilt in English green oak with grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund The roof of the barn was a raised cruck construction and completed by 2005 by McCurdy and Co who built the Globe Theatre by the Thames. Visitors will be able to enter the barn and hear more of its history and the rebuilding programme from members of the Trust.
