Heritage Open Day: Rebuilt in Art Deco-Style in the 1930’s, Climb the Escher like staircase to see artists at work in their studios. You can see a special exhibition of artists completed work and work in-progress. This year's theme Architecture is relevant to the building we occupy, a 1930's rebuild in Art Deco Style. The creative imagination of architectural design really connects with the world of visual art. We feel that art in all its forms is a crucial component of what makes us stand apart from all other living organisms. Art connects us not only to our local communities but also to national and global culture and heritage. Through art we can create opportunities to celebrate difference whilst being united by the common and shared needs of humanity.
