Heritage Open Day: An early Lutyens building Built in 1894 as the Liberal Club, the premises were rebranded as the South Street Social Club in 2021, then closed their doors in 2023. The building has subsequently undergone repair and modernisation to create a high class restaurant, The Third Monkey. This is one of Lutyens' early commissions and is of particular significance as it marks his transition from the Arts and Crafts style of his early works into the neo classical style.
