Heritage Open Day: Enjoy a day at Farnham Castle, founded in the 12th century, the jewel in Farnham’s crown, looking down upon the town of today from its elevated position on Castle Hill as it has done for almost 1000 years. Self-guided tours of the Bishops’ Palace are available between 11am and 4.30pm. Volunteer Palace Guides will be present between 2pm and 4pm to offer historical information.
Wood fired Pizzas, Cream Teas and Refreshments will be available to purchase.

Farnham Castle dates from the twelfth century, and for 900 years, until the mid-twentieth century, was the home and power base of the Bishops of Winchester, and consequently frequently visited by royalty.
