Heritage Open Day: Architectural stories from Kharkiv and Farnham Anastasiia Zavorina reflects on her personal journey from Kharkiv, Ukraine to Farnham, exploring how architecture reflects the history and identity of each town. Stories of key buildings give a glimpse into Kharkiv’s bold Constructivist designs, Soviet era planning and academic grandeur, which contrast with Farnham’s Georgian streetscapes, medieval heritage and market town warmth. This is a chance to see familiar places from a different perspective and discover unexpected links between two distant architectural worlds
