Quay Theatre - Behind the Scenes

Heritage Open Day: The Quay is giving visitors an opportunity to come into our 1791 built, Grade 2 Listed Building and to have a tour of the whole theatre, including backstage and other places not available to the public. Visitors will come into the foyer, be met by our staff and volunteers and will be taken on a tour that lasts (depending on the number of questions asked) around 45 minutes. They will see the small but wonderfully formed auditorium that seats 125, then go backstage to see what happens there and see the dressing rooms etc. The tour will then go upstairs to see the lighting and sound box, the costume store and the Green Room, returning to the bar area which will be open for teas, coffees and drinks.
