The Iconic Hall House

Heritage Open Day: An exhibition explaining the evolution and adaption of a medieval hall house over the centuries as its inhabitants' needs change. With a 1:25 scale model showing typical construction, interpretation boards and images of well disguised examples still A 1:25 scale model illustrating modernisation through the centuries and displaying what is under the surface of typical buildings of the age. Photographic exhibition of historical buildings and adaptation works demonstrating typical techniques and materials in the local area.
