All Saints Church, Weston

Heritage Open Day: Discover the ancient church of All Saints is a Grade I listed building. Of special interest are the triple decker pulpit and Squire's Parlour, the family pew of the Dawson family, descendants of the Vavasours lords of the manor of Weston. The present building dates back to the 11th century. The 13th century double arched bell-cote houses two bells cast in 1991 to replace the ancient bells which were stolen. Since recovered they can be found inside the church. The most recent addition to the building is the fine porch, dated 1686. The interior boasts pine and oak box pews with the large pew opposite the pulpit containing a music stand around which musicians and singers gathered for special occasions.
