Goathurst Village Heritage Trail-St Edward, King and Martyr Church
Heritage Open Day: Visit the church as part of the unique Goathurst Village Heritage Trail. View the wealth of ancient tombs and monuments to the Halswell-Kemeys-Tynte families and discover the fascinating links between the church and nearby Halswell House and Park. This year's Village Heritage Trail is ideally suited to the Festival's theme of architecture as we invite visitors to marvel at the newly restored 18th century monument to the Willis family, Grade II* listed for its architectural significance. Explore the bonds between the various venues on the route: St Edward's Church, Halswell House and Park, the Halswell follies of the Rotunda, Temple of Harmony and the privately owned Temple of Pan.
