Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College: Exhibition - Building their futures

Heritage Open Day: Sixth form students develop concepts for a new college entrance using key characteristics of major architectural styles. CTEC interior architecture students at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College were set the challenge of re-imagining the front entrance to the 19th century college building using influence from an architectural style of their choice. These styles range from, Renaissance to Art Nouveau and Art Deco to Post-modernism. Through detailed design research they identified and applied key characteristics associated with their chosen movement to be reflected in a final three-dimensional model. The exhibition will showcase a number of the designs created.
