Village History and Heritage exhibition

Heritage Open Day: The Village Heritage Model, designed by Peter Goss in 2014 and portraying our village in the run up to D-day 1944, will be on display in the Church on the Green, alongside an exhibition about Village history. Rowlands Castle History and Heritage will be displaying their D-Day model on 20th and 21st September in The Church on the Green for Heritage Open Days. There will be an accompanying display telling the history of the village, including a Heritage trail around the Green, a pictorial history of the village and information about the Castle. Children's activities will also be available.
The D-Day model was built by master modeller Peter Goss, who displayed it throughout the UK and parts of Europe, including twice at Rowlands Castle.
