King Alfred Free Bus Ride Bonanza
Heritage Open Day: The Friends of King Alfred Buses collection of vintage buses dating from 1929 to 1970 will be operating a range of free bus services based on Winchester Broadway from 1000 to 1600
Enjoy riding free on our Historic Vintage Buses. Friends of King Alfred buses will be operating more than a dozen spectacular historic buses and coaches over a wide range of routes starting and finishing in The Broadway. All rides are free. Buses will pick up and set down anywhere en route so passengers can break their journey if they wish. There will be plenty of space for everyone so booking is not required. Just turn up and travel!
An illustrated brochure providing details of all the journeys operated will be available to buy on the day, price £7 in advance and £6 on the day. To pre-order a running day programme, please go to our Online Shop to purchase www.kingalfredbuses.org.uk. They will be delivered in the week before the running day.
