Guildhall Worcester Heritage Tours

Heritage Open Day: Join us for free tours of The Guildhall, a heritage building in the heart of Worcester with a history dating back to 1227. Discover fascinating stories about The Guildhall’s rich past and insights into how the building is still used today. The Guildhall is an important heritage attraction in the centre of the historic city of Worcester.

Situated on the High Street, The Guildhall boasts the remarkable Assembly Room, described by King George III as “a handsome gallery” when he visited in 1788. You can retrace footsteps to admire this space’s Italianate Ceiling and many striking portraits of Royalty and former Mayors. We're also offering spooky cell visits. Step inside the eerie cells where many prisoners once awaited their grim fate.
