Climb the 100+ steps up the tower for views.
Refreshments. 12th century Norman church, stone structure forms the present nave. 14th century south aisle and chancel. 17th century bread shelves and charity board. The 400 year old porch has a heavily studded door with spy hole. North aisle built in the 1960’s features two stained glass windows designed by Trena Cox.
Church opens for visitors 10am to 4pm with guided leaflets and a Children’s Trail available during the day. See the bread shelves and charity board that reflect the social conditions of the time. Medieval craftmanship of the four bench ends of the clergy stalls.
Tower tours – climb the 100+ steps for views of Woodchurch and beyond. Maximum of 4 in tower tours per visit.
