Heritage Open Day: Remains of 12th Century leper chapel The Chapel of St Mary Magdalene is in the Victorian gardens for Hillfield House. It is the remains of a 12th century leper chapel. It contains a stone recumbent figure which some people believe to be the effigy of St Kyneburgh..

It will be also opened as part of the Hillfield Gardens guided walk Friday 12th September 14.00 and Saturday 13th September 10.30.
