Heritage Open Day: Hear the story of the siege in 1643. This guided walk visits some of the places of interest connected with the Siege of Gloucester which took place during the English Civil War. The siege was arguably Gloucester's finest hour when the small garrison of Parliamentarians held out against the might of the Royal Army led by the King himself.
